Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. Her most well-known role is the role of 'Blair' Waldorf' in the drama television series "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester began her career in the industry as an infant. In her early years she appeared in the stage show of a local theater company called 'Wizard of Oz,' and her love for acting was heightened. Her first job was as a model and in commercials. Her work has included brands including 'Ralph' Lauren' Herbal Essences' "Vera Wang and Jimmy Choo', and 'Vera Wang'. The model started out as a fashion model, but then moved on to the world of acting. Her first job was as a model, but later became an actor. She's recorded and written songs with prominent artists including "Cobra Starship,' Robin Thicke and others. Some of her songs are listed in the Billboard Top Hits.' Leighton Meester also performed on Broadway in the production of "Of Mice and Men."
