Grimes
Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY;[1] born March 17 the 17th of March, 1988) is professionally known as Grimes is an Canadian musician and singer/songwriter and producer of records. Her range of her early music is described as "lo lo R&B" as well as "futuristic dance-pop". Her music has added elements from hip hop, electronic and rock. Many of her lyrics touch to science fiction and feminist topics. Five studio albums were made available by the group. Grimes was raised in Vancouver before moving to Montreal in the year 2000. Grimes started releasing her singles in the early 2000s. two albums came out through Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes as well as Halfaxa in the year 2010. After contracting with 4AD and gaining fame with Visions which was her third album of studio work. Visions features the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" which was given an award called the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. After this, the fourth album of her studio, Art Angels, was released in 2015 , and was met with the acclaim of critics, with several publications having have rated it as the top album of 2015. Sixteen years later, her fifth studio album, Miss Anthropocene, was launched in the year 2020. Grimes is also a judge for Alter Ego, a music contest. She participated in the role-playing game that of Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game.
